What to expect with the weight loss program
At your initial consultation and follow-up appointments, we will go over your health history, establish your individual weight loss plan, including goals, lifestyle style modifications, and discuss potential medication options, side effects, contraindications, and what to expect during treatment. Medications are patient-specific, and if you are a candidate for medication therapy, a prescription will be sent to a local 503a compounding pharmacy the day of visit and may take up to 7 days to arrive and be ready for pick-up! There are times where we have your first dose in stock, so it is possible to receive your initial injection same day!
At your first visit, you are required to provide a copy of updated blood work that is within the past 3 months. However, I do have multiple options for you to choose from if you have not had your labs drawn within the last 3 months. These options include providing you with a general lab order so you can get labs drawn at your preferred lab or scheduling you to have your labs at Scenic City Family Practcie. Monthly check-ins are required, to update the progess, and go over any issues or concerns, and make any necessary changes to your treatment plan.
